GasPanic – Roppongi

Club Overview

Club Gaspanic in Roppongi, Tokyo is a group of three establishments. Club 9.9 (open 9pm – 9am) GP bar and GasPanic Bar. Club 9.9 occupies the 1F and B1f the GasPanic bar occupuies the upper two floors. The GP bar is a few buildings down. It should be noted there is also another GasPanic Club branch in Shibuya. All of these establishments are banging out loud hip-hop and are a gaijin meat-market frenzy with a must-have-a-drink-in-your-hand policy.

The unique crowd that can be found at GasPanic is both an attraction and a deterrent. The drink prices are low, the club entry requirements are nearly nonexistent, there are way too many foreigners and theft is a regular problem. However if you are looking for a rowdy messy night, you have found the place.

Genre

Club GasPanic 9.9 primarily plays Hip-Hop, RnB, Rap and remixes. Best to check the official website to see if there is a specific genre event on. (Japanese only)

Crowd

Massive amounts of foreign men, Lots of Japanese girls, all there for one thing. It’s not the music. This is not your typical Japanese club crowd, it is much more American, loud and rowdy.

Alight at Roppongi station (Toei Oedo Line, Metro Hibiya Line)

Exit the station through exit 5. Head south down Gaien Higashi Dori. (walking at a right angle away from the expressway) Follow this road untill you reach the first cross intersection. It will have a family mart on the left hand side. Turn left down this street and go straight. GasPanic is visible down the first street on the right.
